THE BONSAI JAPANESE CEDAR WITH SQUARE POD

Japanese cedar is one of the symbolic bonsai plant. Leaves of Japanese cedar is pointy and short. The trunk has a characteristic of growing straight. The roots are shallow and grows out to different directions.

THE WORLD OF "THE BONSAI"

Although bonsai is known as "living art", The Bonsai is made of synthetic material to preserve the beauty of bonsai eternally and as a miniature scale. No need to worry about watering or maintenance; once The Bonsai is shaped to your likes, it will stay that way as time has stopped. The essence of the world of bonsai is captured in these miniature scale model series by using various modern scaled model technology. In case of pine bonsai, coconut's fibers are taken apart to make the pine's needle leaf and adhere tiny chips on the trunk to produce the proper appearance. Pod of each bonsai is baked in a kiln as a real-life pod would be. Delicate procedure in every step is the key to making outstanding bonsai. The Bonsai is 1/12 scale, the international standard scale for doll house. Like enjoying the world's famous doll house collection, your journey into the scaled world starts here with miniature bonsai.

The Bonsai collection was created under the supervision of Hiroyuki and Kyoko, first Japanese miniature artist to be certified as Fellow Member (highest member tier) by Inter-national Guild of Miniature Artisans.
